About Hopeful Skeptic

Hopeful Skeptic is a blog exploring how to create more good in the world of social impact. It tackles thorny questions with a healthy dose of optimism, and skepticism: What is "good"? How can we do "good" better, both collectively and individually? And where can we create more "good"?

About Me

I'm the CEO and founder of Common Group, a social enterprise advancing innovative solutions across education, workforce development, and employer talent practices. Driven by a core belief in the need for more equal paths to opportunity, I started Common Group after leading grant funds and innovation collaboratives at Entangled Solutions. In previous lives, I worked at the Harvard Innovation Lab, launched a technology startup focused on building career navigation tools for displaced workers, and began my career as a management consultant in corporate operations and talent. I live in Los Angeles, California.
